Taking a brief break from the wedding photos to share this grad party we planned from the weekend- so 👏🏻 much 👏🏻 FUN 👏🏻! No better way to celebrate this grad than with family, friends, a wood fired pizza food truck, lemonade bar with garnishes galore, cutest cookies from @sweetscookie , snow cones, a bounce house fit for kids AND adults (of course), a fun balloon garland for photos, and the grad’s request- a notebook for all guests to share their advice, memories and well wishes (how sweet is that?)! Congratulations, @agatalubanski !
I love catching my Bride and Groom when no one else is looking. Enjoy those quiet moments together because the day flies by faster than you can ever imagine. What was your favorite moment on your wedding day?
Today I am 30. 30!! I didn’t really have feelings about this number until today. I am so often mistaken for being 18 years old (😂) that I was kind of like, eh, age is just a number. And while I do still feel that way, I’ve been overcome with gratitude for what 30 years has given me: Incredible parents who did everything to give me a beautiful life, a sister who is one of my biggest blessings and role models, a high school that gave me friends that always love each other unconditionally (truly), college years rich in experience, a student parish that set my faith on fire and blessed me with God-centered friendships, life in California teaching me what truly matters most, a career that brought me to Gathered Together Events, a family who teaches me to love life, and of course, a son and husband who have taught me true love. Cheers to 30 🥂 Cake: @bellaedolce Photography: @emilyjane
My husband’s sweet Dziadek (Polish for Grandpa) passed away last week and we spent the weekend with family laying him to rest and celebrating his 94 years of life, which were so well lived. I could list his many attributes and things his family loved most about him, but that doesn’t seem to begin to do justice to the man he was. At the cemetery, after the final blessing, Babcia (Polish for Grandma ) had all of the great grandchildren take a rose from the bouquet she had made for him which laid on his casket all weekend. When my son, Benny, sees this rose throughout his life and asks to hear stories of Dziadek, they will mostly be stories sharing his sense of humor, but there will also be stories of great love. Great love that simply cannot be expressed on these squares because of their depth. Rest sweetly, Dziadek. We cannot wait to see you again in the place we all belong. 🕊
What do you love to do when Spring rolls around? Everyone seems to be Marie Kondo-ing and organizing with inspiration from @thehomeedit this year. I admit I’m no different. It feels so good to deep clean and reorganize/ rearrange when the seasons change. This year I’m using what we have and looking at it with a fresh perspective to find new ways to decorate. With all that being said, there is nothing like fresh flowers in your home with that warm breeze finally blowing in through your windows. Double tap if you agree 🌻 Soak it in, friend!
When your baby starts consistently sleeping through the night you dance, baby! ...and maybe wonder a bit if a simple change to his nighttime routine made the difference and realize if it did, he could have been sleeping better months ago...😒 ⠀⠀ I am in full planning mode this week and have to say that the continuous sleep, warmer weather and iced coffee is definitely helping my productivity. Praise! ⠀⠀ Double tap if Spring is giving you LIFE! ⠀⠀ Photography: @emilyjane
This photo. It captures what I aim to be for you as a wedding planner. I have always loved a particular quote from Maya Angelou that has become my philosophy as a planner. She said, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you’ve said, people will forget what you did, but they will never forget the way you made them feel.” My goal will always be to make you and your guests completely cared for. P.S. I think my son knew I posted about his recent bad sleep habits yesterday because he slept 12 👏🏻 straight 👏🏻 hours 👏🏻 last night 🙌🏻. This Mama is feeling refreshed and ready for the weekend. I’ll be taking the next few days away from this space to be truly present in the Easter Triduum this weekend. See you all back here on Monday! Photography: @emilyjane
Marriage is the best. I truly hope you agree. I realize my baby is only 10 months old, but when he wakes up several times in the night (several nights in a row) it can feel so defeating. I know we are blessed to consider our baby’s sleep habits one of our stressors right now, don’t get me wrong. But I’m so grateful to have a husband who helps me when I’m so tired I can’t think straight. My husband was my deep breath, loving hug and perspective last night when our little guy kept waking up. Be in the hard times together. Lean on each other and I promise you that your marriage and love will grow and it will be the best. Photographer: @emilyjane
